Hello Pros 👋

I hope you now have clarity on why Safe Zone matters and how to place elements properly.
If not, read this once and check the video guide on how to do it in DaVinci Resolve & After Effects.

1️⃣ Maintain a Centre Point (Don’t Be Random)

❌ The Problem:
Many editors place captions randomly — sometimes top, sometimes bottom, sometimes left or right.
This makes the viewer’s eyes keep moving all over the screen.

🎯 Why it matters:
Captions are meant to be read easily.
When text stays in one position, it feels clean, calm, and easy to read.
Less eye movement = better attention.

✅ The Solution:
Maintain a consistent center point for captions.

🔺 Follow this method in resolve
🔺 Follow this method in After Effects

2️⃣ Respect the “Safe Zone”

❌ The Problem:
Platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts add UI elements
(like buttons, captions, share icons) on top of your video.

🎯 Why it matters:
Anything outside the safe zone can get covered by the app UI.
If viewers can’t see your text, they get distracted and confused.

Your goal is a clear, distraction-free viewing experience.

✅ The Solution:
Always place text and important visuals inside the Safe Zone
